Acting runs in the blood of Angelina’s family. Her father is Jon Voihgt who is a known Academy Award winner and her mother is a French actress Marcheline Bertrand. When her parents divorced, she stayed with her mother and brother James in Palisades, New York until she was ten years old, when they moved to Los Angeles. Angelina left home when she was sixteen and started her journey to stardom. She began her acting career at the Lee Strasberg Theater by performing and training there at the same time.
