Lebanese-Spanish Yamila Diaz was born and raised in Argentina to a physician father and an old citizens’ home manager mother. She really has no intention of pursuing a modeling career, but when she was spotted by a modeling agency scout in a Uruguayan beach in 1996, there is no looking back for this exotic-looking 5’8” stunner. She has the brains to match her beauty too. She studied Economics in Buenos Aires before flying to Milan where she embarked on a glamorous modeling career. Her climb to the top wasn’t an easy one though. She did department store catalogues first before her stint in the 1999 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Calendar established her as one of the models to watch out for. And in 2000, there was no stopping Yamila from posing for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.
